Dose Reconstruction
Shonka Research Associates has been a primary subcontractor for three of the major dose reconstruction studies at DOE sites: Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, the Oak Ridge Reservation, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. SRA staffs have also supported four litigations, including two, which involved development of source terms, uncertainties and reconstruction of the doses from fuel processing facilities (Apollo Plant and Parks Township). SRA staff expertise in database design and document management, document searching, and source term development was instrumental to the success of these projects.
